THE 3RD DIMENSION INTERACTIVE DESIGNING COURSE FOR BEGINNERS WITH 3DKIT 2 ------------------------------------------------------- The course is made in such a way that the objects to be designed are already available in Area 2, but initially they are invisible. There is a Local Condition in which I placed a routine that makes every part of it visible, so you can exactly see how the objects have been made. Each part of them becomes visible after a certain delay. I used the WAIT command in the Local Condition to achieve this. In the meantime you are able to move around in the area, so you can look at the objects from every angle. If you want the part(s) to appear slower you can increase the WAIT number(s) in the Local Condition yourself. The command is as follows: for (v34,0,100) -> 100=the delay number wait next vis (2) or (3) etc. This command has been repeated for each part of the object to appear. When you want to design the same object, you can do this in Area 1, which is already available in the datafile. If you are in doubt on how a certain part of the object obtained its shape, you can make a copy of it by saving that particular one as an object and loading it in again in Area 1. The only thing you must not forget in this case, is to make that part visible again in the Attributes menu, because all parts of the objects are initially set to invisible. So if you load part of the object as an object in Area 1 and you do not see anything, go to the Attributes menu and make it visible. You can then edit it if you wish. This time you will see an area with the Batmobil from the famous Batman movies. This car was made by Peter Ward. It shows again the possibilities of creating excellent objects both in Kit1 and Kit2. The file on disk is called: for the AMIGA/ATARI: Batmoba.3wd for the PC: Batmob1.3wd Mieke
